What Our Partners Are Saying

Lori LeDrew, Executive Director

Office to Advance Women Apprentices

Newfoundland and Labrador

“It’s no secret that we’ve been incredibly impressed by The Purposeful Group. The team was exceptional to work with—producing high-quality deliverables while bringing deep knowledge and thoughtful perspective to every stage of the process. We can’t say enough about how grateful we are for their support.”

TPG recently developed a business plan for The Built Collective, an all-female trades company operating on the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador. The company brings together women in construction, electrical, and plumbing apprenticeships, led by certified Red Seal tradeswomen. Their focus is on serving the often-overlooked small repair and renovation market, while creating a respectful, supportive workplace where Level 1 and 2 female apprentices can complete the hours required toward certification.

Our team has developed a business plan for Choices for Youth in the past and are currently developing a business plan for their three social enterprises - The Neighbourhood (thrift store), The Shop (workworking, screen printing and textile creation) and Crust Craft Bakery to align them with a recent strategic review we completed for the Charity.

"Working with The Purposeful Group was an excellent experience from start to finish. Their team demonstrated a deep understanding of community-driven, Indigenous-led work and took the time to truly listen to our needs and priorities. The process was thoughtful, well-structured, and respectful, and the final deliverables were clear, practical, and aligned with our values and long-term vision. We appreciated their flexibility, strong facilitation, and ability to translate complex conversations into a strategic plan we can realistically implement."

“Working with Lisa Lowthers and The Purposeful Group was an incredibly valuable experience for me. Their thoughtful guidance and resources gave me new tools and perspectives that I continue to use in my leadership. I appreciated how they created a space that was both welcoming and challenging, encouraging me to reflect deeply while also equipping me with practical strategies.
